Shelter Location: Woodside Church -1667 Edgewood Rd, Yardley
Guests should NOT arrive before 8:30pm
Shelter closes at 6:30 am (Due to daycare on property)

Guests needing bus pick-up from the Morrisville Bus stop should call 215-550-3868 x100
and leave a message with their name, phone #. We will do our best to get a bus out to you.
Requests MUST be made by 5:00pm, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Those in need of daytime shelter can go to the
Homeless Drop-In Center
Monday through Friday - 7:00am to 4:00pm
The center is located at The Reach Out Foundation Building
152 Monroe Ave. Penndel.
Services include: Shower, Washer & Dryer, charging stations
along with light refreshments. ​
AHTN's Mission Statement
Advocates for Homeless & Those in Need (AHTN) is a Bucks County interfaith nonprofit that serves the homeless and those in need by providing year-long access to emergency shelter, food and other life-sustaining services with dignity and compassion.

THOSE IN NEED
AHTN’s Those In Need (TIN) Mission processes daily calls from agencies, organizations and individuals seeking assistance with an array of services such as: emergency shelter, prescriptions, utility assistance, legal documents, transportation to mental health & doctors appointments, thrift stores, food pantries, drug court, laundromat, etc. The TIN mission is always looking for drivers to help with these calls. WHEELS TO MEALS
The Wheels to Meals Mission provides transportation using AHTN's volunteer bus team and vehicles. Homeless guests and others in need are transported to a shared meal provided by one of over 39 local houses of worship in Lower Bucks County. CODE BLUE
AHTN provides emergency overnight shelter for adults 18 and over. The temperature criteria and all volunteer positions must be staffed to open the shelter. The Code Blue season runs from December 1st through March 31st. Click here to learn how you can volunteer for Code Blue or if you are in need of shelter during Code Blue season.
Drug / Mental Heath Court Drivers
Volunteers are needed to help transport guests to both Mental Health Court and Drug Court each week to the courthouse in Doylestown.
Mental Health Court is held every Wednesday, Drug Court has 2 sessions every Thursday. Volunteers will be notified the day before their scheduled run the number of guests to pick up at the Levittown Library and will communicate with the Court Coordinators with any issues or concerns. Volunteers must stay in the Doylestown area until court is finished. Volunteer then returns all guests back to the library,

Grounded in the Grace of God, through its outreach is called in mission and ministry to serve and love those in need locally and around the world.
MONROE SYSTEMS FOR BUSINESS
Based in Tullytown, PA, Monroe Systems for Business is proud to support AHTN in their efforts to assist members of our local community who are in need. Founded in 1912 as the inventor of the first commercial printing calculator, Monroe has maintained strong business relationships with accounting and finance professionals for their equipment and supply needs. We are honored to be a part of this very special program.
