46.2 million Americans live in poverty every day. It is difficult for those of us who have enough to truly understand the situations that families living in poverty experience every day – the decisions they have to make, and the fears and frustrations they feel.

Our Code Blue site & one of our Free Shared Meal hosts, Woodside Presbyterian Church along with Bucks County Opportunity Council will be hosting a Poverty Simulation on Saturday, October 14th from 8:30 am – 12 pm.

Participants will role play a person living in poverty for four abbreviated weeks. The simulation will be followed by a discussion of your experience and the Bucks County Opportunity Council’s approach to helping people move beyond poverty.

Participants must be 16 or older. Spots are limited, please register here:http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e44a4af2ca6f49-poverty
For questions please contact Carolyn Gaul at Carolyn@woodside-church.org.

Loads of Love: There is a 30 minute limit on free dryer usage. A suggestion might be to wash only clothing and arrange for a laundry trip through Nikki, AHTN Resource Consultant, for blankets and heavier items. Nikki can be reached at 215-550-3868 extension 101.
