Job fairs this month seek entry level, manager recruits

Several area companies are seeking employees at two local job fairs to be held this week and next.
ALDI grocery stores will hold a hiring event 3-6 p.m. Thursday at the ALDI, 2990 Edgely Road, Bristol Township, for its Pennsylvania stores in Abington, Bensalem, Hatboro, Langhorne and Levittown, and its New Jersey store in Trenton.
Opportunities for careers include manager trainee positions, with salaries ranging from $52,000 to $71,500 a year and opportunities to earn $75,000 to $90,000 a year as a store manager. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Job applicants with a high-school diploma or GED are preferred. Retail experience is a plus and management experience is preferred for manager trainees. The applicants also should have the ability to lift 45 pounds and expect a drug screening and background check.  
Then Pennsylvania CareerLink will host a job fair 10 a.m to noon Wednesday at PA CareerLink Bucks County, 1260 Veterans Highway, also in Bristol Township. The employers attending will include: Central Bucks and Lower Bucks YMCA, Infinity Health Care, the U.S. Army, Senior Helpers, Manpower, Clemens Food Group, CP Flexible Packaging, Philadelphia Job Corps and the Philadelphia Police Department.
Also attending are: DataBank, UPS, American Heritage Federal Credit Union, Source4Teachers / Mission One, McDonalds, Loving Arms Elder Care, Manor Care of Oxford Valley, Global Employment Solutions, Vertical Screen, American Pool and Genesis Healthcare.
